Maritime temperate; cool and rainy in south, warmer and drier in north.

TERRAIN:

Wooded foothills to the west on the edge of the Red Rise Mountains, farmland and woods spreading across to the NAME river. coastal cliffs to the north east lowering out to beaches and rocky bays.
